Teachers' Council

The Teachers’ Council, a statutory body, formed in our college every year in conformity with the Govt. order no 4188-Edn. (A)/ a.51-2/70, Dt. 26th Nov, 1970. All the Full-time teachers and the librarian appointed in substantive post are members of the Teachers’ Council. At the beginning of every sessions several Subcommittees are formed at a meeting of Teachers’ Council to oversee and coordinate the different academic and administrative matters. The combination of experienced senior faculty members and dynamic young junior faculties brings innovative ideas and dynamism in the operation of this institute

• to felicitates teachers for their academic excellence.
• to shape up the vision & mission of this institution.
• takes the responsibility of quality assurance at the level of teaching-learning and evaluation.
• to monitor the proper designing and implementation of the planning related to the academic health of the college including admission, examination, sports and cultural activities, extension activities, research etc.

Dr. Sibsankar Pal, Officer-in-charge of this college is the ex-officio Chairman and member of all the committees, and all the teachers and the librarian appointed in this college are members of this Teachers’ Council. Raghunath Roy, Assistant Professor of History is unanimously elected as the secretary of the Teachers’ Council for the year 2022-2023.
