- Moratorium period: Repayment of the loan starts one year after completing the course or six months after getting a job, whichever is earlier.
- Eligibility: Students pursuing higher education in West Bengal, including those in government and private institutions, are eligible.
- Courses covered: The scheme covers various courses, including undergraduate, postgraduate, vocational, and M.Phil/Ph.D. programs.
- Application process: Students can apply through the online portal or contact the District Employment Exchange or the Higher Education Department Or the Nodal Officer of the institution for assistance.
