Alumni Association

About

Alumni are a vital part of every educational institution. They are the link between the glorious past and the wonderful present of the University. It assists in various academic and administrative works, right from giving suggestions in decision-making to providing ideas for the welfare of the institution. Alumni Association of Tehatta Government College had been founded in 2023 and it started functioning with a get-together. Ex-students of our Bengali and History department are appreciated to have a plan to form an Alumni Association of theirs. And then a formal meeting (Notice No. 298 dated 16/09/2023) of all ex-students has been convened for this purpose on 21st September, 2023 (Friday) at 3 p.m. in the Lecture Theatre of the college. Around 35 alumni were present in that meeting. Members were elected annomously and thus the executive committe was formed. Our volunteers shall get in touch with you at your convenience regarding the technicalities of the association.

Aims and Objectives

1. To promote a feeling of fellowship and fraternity amongst the former and present students.
2. To create opportunities for all students of the college.
3. To support the academic programs of our alma mater.
4. To create a sound and comfortable academic atmosphere.
5. To organize debates, guest lectures, seminars, symposia etc. from time to time.
6. To organize the freshers’ welcome, annual reunion, and other programmes.
7. To undertake all activities necessary or expedient for fulfilling the objectives of the association.
8. To spread the news of the achievements of the college and our esteemed alumni.
