Departmental Overview
The Department of Chemistry was introduced from the academic session of 2016-17. The department includes four faculties:
- Dr. SK Basiruddin (HOD)
- Dr. Sanjay Satpati
- Dr. Ramij Raja Mondal
- Susmita Chowdhury
There are three laboratories- one physical, one organic and one inorganic located on the ground floor. The laboratories are well equipped and there is also a seminar library for the convenience of the students. The teachers of the department try to make the students fall in love with the subject and not just study by heart to obtain marks.
