Departmental Overview
The Department of Physics began its journey with the establishment of the college, offering general degree courses affiliated with the University of Kalyani. Located on the first floor of the main building, the department features laboratories that are fully equipped to support practical courses under both the previous CBCS system and the new UG NEP 2020 curriculum. Renowned for its excellence in teaching and research, the department's faculty members are deeply committed to both education and research, consistently publishing papers in internationally reputed journals. Students benefit from a welcoming and supportive environment that fosters deep learning and academic growth. After completing their undergraduate degrees, many students pursue master’s programs, secure government and private sector jobs, and continue their professional development.
