Seminar, Workshops & Conferences

Despite being a very young institution, Government General Degree College, Tehatta strives to contribute to the growth and dissemination of knowledge. To this end, the College faculty organize seminars from time to time, inviting noted educationists and academics to enlighten the staff and students on various topics.

A seminar is a form of academic instruction of every higher academic institution. It is described as a research talk primarily attended by academics, research staff, and students. Workshop refers to usually a brief intensive educational programme designed relatively for a small group of people, in which participants actively engage in hands-on activities, exercises, and practical tasks. Facilitators often guide participants through specific skills or learning objectives. A conference is a meeting, often lasting a few days, which is organized on a particular subject or to bring together people who have a common interest. Our college organises different lecture sessions, workshops, and seminars in regular basis and renowned speakers are invited, and they deliver their thought on a particular topic.
